We love crazy hair day! I normally let my children pick, and my oldest decided to pick a bird cage. So after trying to figure out how in the word we should do this, we got started by going to a hardware store for some rubber coated wire. I then made a bird cage shape with the wire, and set it on top of her head.

Slowly, piece by piece. we wrapped a strand of hair around the bird cage. We use the strongest hair gel we can find, and it normally works great. So as we are wrapping little bits of hair around the cage, I am using a LOT of gel to keep it in place. After all the hair was finally wrapped around the cage, we added a little bird on the wire swing. She loved how it turned out. Also, sorry for the lack of step by step pictures, I had no hands to spare and they were full of gel the whole time.
