The beach is one of our favorite places to visit, so these were a lot of fun to make. They are pretty simple and turned out really nice.

First, I rolled out a backing color, to make the earrings a little thicker. Then you can start adding your layers for sand and different colors for the water.

After arranging the colors how I wanted them, I put it through the pasta roller. I added a little bit more of the white to make it look more like waves. When I was happy with it I used the roller to smooth it out.

Once you are happy with how it looks, you can cut them into any shapes you would like. Are use a brush tool to give the sand a better texture, but a toothbrush or something similar would also work as well.

You can choose to poke a hole in the top or insert a eyelet screw, either way I add it before I bake the clay. Lastly you can bake and seal them and TA-DA, they are finished!
