My oldest daughter decided on a hairy Potter birthday party. We found this really cool invitation idea on Pinterest, and we went for it. I was assuming that I was going to have to draw the owls, but my daughter wanted to do it all by herself, and she did fantastic! I was really surprised at how quick and easy it was. She ended up doing all of the owls her self and she was so proud of the end result.
First we gathered our balloons and markers, I blew them up for her and tied the knot, and then she looked at a picture on my phone and free handed the owl from there.
Then we filled out the invitations and I tied them to the bottom of the balloon. That’s it! Her friends thought it was the coolest imitation ever, and it only took about 30 minutes.
