As the birthday of my oldest child was getting closer, she decided she wanted a Ninjago party. I saw some cute ideas for party invitations on Pintrest, so we decided to make the invitations ourselves. She did most of the work herself, I helped to measure and cut a little. We started by buying a lot of yellow paper (They are Lego heads, after all). I marked off  the area where the eyes should be and she tried her best to make them look “tough”.

After drawing a LOT of eyes, I used a pencil and drew the outline of the Lego head. She cut them all to shape and we then went on to start on the ninja masks.

All we did for the mask part is fold a piece of paper colored paper in half and cut the eye hole (we didn’t use a measurement, just tried to copy the pictures of the characters). Then we glued the Lego face to the inside of our folded construction paper and filled in the party information. These were not hard to make, just very tedious and a LOT of cutting. But in the end, I think they turned out great and she did have fun making them.
